Story: This is me and my dad at the lot where our "Home Sweet Home" was built. The lot had a very, long history which spans from my great great grandfather to the generation after myself. The house built within this lot has so much to do with my childhood that words can never justify its wonderful hidden stories. :) i hope this picture is enough.. at least for now.
Story: i remember when i was 4. my little sister and i were fighting and my dad took a rope, tied our hands, then went into the kitchen to get a knife. he came back screaming about how he was going to cut our hands off. i was only 4. do you know how scared i was? my older brother got to be pretty abusive too. i still remember him punching me and hitting me with the belt. my mom never did anything. i remember it all so well. and i keep wondering why it won't leave me alone. god, just let me breath...
i had an abusive childhood. my dad hit me a lot and so did my mom. i missed out on being a kid. for some reason, these bad memories keep coming back and i don't know why. i just wish my past would let me finally live...i just wanna finally breath :)
Story: As a little girl, I loved summer and going barefoot. The freedom to run, laugh, be with friends, pick flowers, and enjoy the happy non-school days provided ample happy childhood memories. To see a picture of a dandelion floods my mind with those smells, emotions, and sheer delight of running in the wind allowing the breeze to blow away the feathery portions of the dandelion. Childhood was like those dandelions—beautiful to the beholder and yet, quickly passing.
A child running barefoot on a carpet of grass, a dandelion in each hand, I skipped and ran letting the breeze flow through the delicate snowy dandelion sending the petals outward—these were the light-hearted, carefree days of childhood. Where did they go?
Story: From the time my parents got home from work my sister and I would swim until after dark. We would have friends and family over almost every weekend and pool parties at least twice every summer break from school. These memories will never be forgotten!
This reminds me of my childhood and swimming all summer long with my sister, cousins and special friends.
