Story: My daughter asked for Kleenex for Christmas because she always has allergies so one of the things she wanted most was Kleenex in her stocking!
Story: This is a little 10 year old Shih-Tzu named Gramps. He is blind, deaf, has arthritis and was abandoned to the shelter. My dad (who we called Gramps) died recently. I found this little dog who was an absolute mess, shy and no telling what his life had been like. My mom who is 85 lives with me. He weighed about 7 lbs when we first got him. Now after 6 months, he weighs about 11 lbs and has slowly come out of his shyness to a family that can make his remaining days full of love.
Story: This is Chance. I purchased this dog when my last grandchild was born. We raised him to go to our grandson when he was older. Chance only made it until last year and we had to put him to sleep because of his health he was twelve. We are both very sad and he is very missed.
Story: My son lived in Queen Charlotte Islands with his family but moved before I got a chance to visit and share the beauty he fell in love with. He surprized me with a week long trip for just the two of us back to the Charlotte's. One day he took me to a secluded beach where I spent the day collecting shells and taking pictures of the beautiful marine life. It was a wonderful bonding experience for mother and son and left me with memories I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Story: My sister-in-law was scared to have kids of her own so after ALOT of thought and consideration I gave her the parental rights to my two daughters. It was the hardest day of my life, but I knew it was going to make her day the happiest, I was pregnant with a boy at the time and when they come over to visit they see me, start running as fast as their little feet can allow them and they hug me while they're calling me mommy, that always makes me well up, that they will always remember me as Mommy.
